These Terms of Use (“TOU” or “Terms”) outline the conditions for accessing and using boardsoftware.net, including all related services, content, and platforms (collectively referred to as the “Site”). These Terms apply to all visitors and users (“you,” “your,” “User”). By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these TOU, along with any additional terms that may apply to specific services or content.
If you do not accept these Terms, you must stop using the Site immediately. boardsoftware.net reserves the right to modify or update these TOU at its sole discretion by posting changes on this page. Continued use of the Site after any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to check for updates periodically.
Certain features or sections of the Site may have additional terms, which are considered part of these TOU by reference. These Terms do not apply to boardsoftware.net’s products or support services, which are governed by separate agreements.
By using the Site, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this binding agreement. THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT IS INTENTIONALLY IN ALL CAPS: BY ACCESSING, BROWSING, OR USING THE SITE AND ITS SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF USE AND ANY APPLICABLE ADDITIONAL TERMS.
1. DEFINITIONS
“Contributor Material” means posts, content, information or material submitted by you on certain pages of the Site.
“Site Content” means, without limitation, all information, text, images, audio, video, graphics, data, and other materials provided by boardsoftware.net, its licensors, and third parties, displayed on or made available through the Site.
“External Resources” means links to external websites or resources provided on the Site.
2. SITE CONTENT AND USE
2.1. You are authorized to access and use the Site and the related Site Content solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This authorization is conditioned upon your strict compliance with the following restrictions:

(b) Accessing or attempting to access the Site through automated means, including but not limited to scripts, bots, spiders, crawlers, or meta-search tools;
(c) Circumventing, disabling, or otherwise interfering with security-related features of the Site or features that prevent or restrict use or copying of any Site Content;
(d) Using, copying, storing, reproducing, transmitting, modifying, altering, reverse engineering, or creating derivative works from any Site Content, in whole or in part, for any commercial purpose;
(e) Interfering with, disrupting, or imposing an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the infrastructure of the Site;
(f) Uploading, posting, or transmitting any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
(g) Introducing any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other malicious or technologically harmful material to the Site;
(h) Collecting or harvesting any information or data from the Site or our systems or attempting to decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Site;
(i) Impersonating or attempting to impersonate boardsoftware.net, a boardsoftware.net employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
The foregoing list of prohibited activities is illustrative and not exhaustive. boardsoftware.net reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether any use of the Site or Site Content violates this TOU.
3. USER-GENERATED CONTENT
When you submit Contributor Materials to the Site, you retain ownership but grant boardsoftware.net a global, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, and otherwise utilize the materials in any format or media. This license extends to future rights and new forms of use permitted by law. Additionally, you grant other Site users a non-exclusive license to access and use your Contributor Materials as permitted under these Terms. boardsoftware.net reserves the right to remove or refuse any user-generated content that violates these Terms or is deemed unlawful or inappropriate.
4. YOUR ACTIVITIES
4.1. When submitting Contributor Materials, you agree not to:
(a) Provide content that is copyrighted, protected by trade secrets, or subject to any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or proprietary rights unless you own them or have explicit permission from the rightful owner to share such content and grant boardsoftware.net the necessary rights.
(b) Upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, libelous, invasive of privacy, hateful, or otherwise objectionable based on race, ethnicity, or other factors.
(c) Share unsolicited advertisements, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of unauthorized solicitation. You must also not upload or transmit any content containing viruses, malware, or any malicious code designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functionality of software, hardware, or communication systems.
4.2. You acknowledge that boardsoftware.net is not responsible for Contributor Materials and is under no obligation to remove them. However, boardsoftware.net has the sole discretion to determine if any content violates these Terms and may take appropriate action accordingly.
5. LINKS
The Site may contain links to External Websites for convenience, but boardsoftware.net does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for such resources. You acknowledge that boardsoftware.net is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your use of External Resources.
Your access to these resources is at your own risk, and you are responsible for adhering to their terms and privacy policies. By using the Site, you waive any claims against boardsoftware.net related to your use of External Resources. boardsoftware.net disclaims any warranties and liability regarding the availability, content, or services of External Resources.
6. OWNERSHIP
The Site and its content are the exclusive property of boardsoftware.net or its licensors, protected under intellectual property laws. You acknowledge that boardsoftware.net retains full ownership rights, and no ownership or licensing rights are granted to you unless explicitly stated in these Terms.
Any feedback you provide regarding the Site is considered non-confidential, and you grant boardsoftware.net a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use such feedback for any purpose without compensation or attribution. boardsoftware.net holds all intellectual property rights, whether registered or unregistered, worldwide. 7. SECURITY
You must not attempt to breach or compromise the security of the Site, including unauthorized access, data breaches, or service disruptions. Any such actions may lead to legal consequences, including civil or criminal liability.
boardsoftware.net reserves the right to investigate any suspected security violations and may cooperate with law enforcement authorities to prosecute offenders. The company may also take necessary technical and legal measures to prevent, detect, and mitigate security threats or breaches of these Terms.
8. WARRANTY
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. BOARDSOFTWARE.NET DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
boardsoftware.net does not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. You assume full responsibility and risk for using the Site and its content.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Site complies with all applicable laws. To the maximum extent permitted by law, boardsoftware.net shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Site.
9. INDEMNIFICATION

boardsoftware.net reserves the right, at your expense, to assume exclusive defense in any matter requiring indemnification, and you agree to cooperate in such defense. This indemnification obligation survives the termination of these Terms and your use of the Site.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, boardsoftware.net, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and licensors shall not be responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the Site. If you are dissatisfied with the Site, your only recourse is to stop using it.
boardsoftware.net’s total liability for any claims related to the Site shall not exceed $1.00 USD.
11. APPLICABLE LAW
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration under the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), which are incorporated by reference into this section.
12. TERMINATION
boardsoftware.net may, at its sole discretion and without notice, terminate your access to the Site and remove any contributed materials if it believes you have violated these Terms. boardsoftware.net may also discontinue the Site or any portion of it at any time without notice.
Termination of access may occur without prior warning, and you acknowledge that boardsoftware.net may permanently restrict you from accessing the Site. boardsoftware.net shall not be liable to you or any third party for terminating your access.
